Bridges Investigations’ groundbreaking exposé “The Fangs of Israel: How Europe Supplies Israel with Brutal Canine Weapons” has been officially shortlisted for the 16th ARIJ Awards for Arab Investigative Journalism, one of the region’s most prestigious honors for investigative reporting.
Selected from more than 160 submissions across 29 countries—with 41% of entries submitted by female journalists—the investigation stands among just 10 exceptional stories recognized this year for their rigor, impact, and dedication to uncovering the truth.
The shortlisted investigation, published in collaboration with ARIJ, reveals how European-trained and -supplied attack dogs are being used by Israeli forces in operations across Gaza and the West Bank, raising urgent legal and ethical questions.
This recognition underscores the vital role of independent journalism in documenting abuses and driving accountability.
