Bridges Investigations is proud to announce that the investigation “Israel’s Fangs are Devouring Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank,” produced in collaboration with Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ), has been shortlisted for the True Story Award 2026, one of the world’s leading awards recognizing outstanding long-form and investigative journalism.
The sixth edition of the award received 959 submissions from 103 countries in 22 languages. Following a rigorous evaluation by an international jury of 36 members, only 108 stories were selected for the shortlist, highlighting the award’s strong global competition and high editorial standards.
The shortlisted investigation examines the use of police and military dogs in the context of human rights violations against Palestinians, and its selection reflects international recognition of its investigative depth, narrative strength, and public-interest impact.
The finalists—three stories per world region or language area—will be announced in the coming period. Their authors will be invited to attend the award ceremony and the True Story Festival in Bern, Switzerland.
